Mission

Little Rock Peace for Palestine seeks to build a grassroots base of Arkansans deeply committed to disrupting the Arkansas-Israel alliance through education and political action.

Vision

A future of justice, equality, and dignity for all people from Arkansas to Palestine.

Core Principles

We Can’t Do This Alone

We stand alongside Palestinians, Jews, and other movements fighting to end apartheid and injustice. As Mariame Kaba writes, “Nothing that we do that is worthwhile is done alone.”

We Center Lived Experiences of the Region

We are committed to understanding the history of the region in shaping the current reality on the ground and centering the experiences of those most directly impacted. We believe a future for the land will be decided by those on the land.

We All Can Be Leaders

We believe that all of us are capable of leading when given the skills, confidence, and opportunity. We prioritize developing leaders at all levels of the organization.

Palestinian Liberation is Collective Liberation

Zionism, white supremacy, homophobia, transphobia, patriarchy, colonialism, militarism, nationalism, and capitalism are intertwined with one another. We cannot dismantle Zionism without dismantling all injustices.

Community Care is Necessary

We commit to caring for each other, building relationships across differences, and centering spiritual and communal well-being so we may all be more whole.

We Believe a Different Future Is Possible

We believe that freedom is possible. As Angela Davis writes, “You have to act as if it were possible to radically transform the world. And you have to do it all the time.”
